Kim Roxie

Kim is originally from Houston and completed Divinc’s program in the summer of 2018. Kim started her career running a retail cosmetics store, but decided to shut it down to build her own company, LAMIK Beauty, focused on creating a vegan cosmetic line with natural ingredients exclusively for women of color.

Since DivInc, Kim has gone on to be apart of SputnikATX, Texas Venture Labs, and the SKU 7 Track program. Kim’s one of Austin's startups to watch in 2019, via Silicon Hills News, and one of Houston’s 40 under 40 honorees, via Houston Business Journal.

Inspired by his time studying Philosophy and his mission to make the perfect salsa, Roman created Gardenio as a socially conscious company that makes it easier to grow your own organic food. Silicon Hills News touts it as an online marketplace for gardeners aimed at Millennials.

Roman cares deeply about food and drink, social justice, and building companies that shift cultural attitudes. People are falling in love with this kind of leadership, and it shows in the company’s growth. Since DivInc, Roman has participated in the Tarmac TX accelerator and brought on multiple investors.
